He started his real estate practice as a licensed sales agent from 1977 to 1981 and was an affiliate of Metro Manila Homeland Real estate and Brokerage Corporation. He
is a graduate of Bachelor's of Science Major in Accounting of the Far Estern University (FEU). In 1981, he took the real estate brokerage exam and got his license as a
real estate broker in the same year. His practice as a broker has well been exposed here in cagayan de oro city since 1983. He became past- president for (2) two
consecutive years with the Northern Mindanao Realtors Board, Inc. (NOMIREB) from 2001 to 2002 and was elected Vice- President for Mindanao of the Philippine
Association of Realtors Board, Inc (PAREB) in 2002.
Manny has served his community in the following oraganizations to wit:
- Rotary East of Cagayan de oro- VP- 2005
- Chamber for real estate builders association (CREBA) - director
- Cagayan de oro Bicol Association - member
He is also a part-time licensed insurance agent for over 20 years. presently affiliated and accredited with the following insurance companies to wit:
- pioneer insurance
- philippine charter
- stronGhold
- philippine british
- philippine Phoenix
